Finding Your New Home
To start your journey, you'll need to locate one of the Vacant Lots scattered across Brick Bay. These lots are marked by blue house icons on the map. Open your map to find these icons, and choose a lot that fits your vision for your new home.
Claiming a House
Most Vacant Lots suitable for houses are found in the southern and eastern parts of Brick Bay, just outside the city. Once you've found a lot you like, interact with the red sign posted in front of it to claim it. Afterward, go to your "My Homes" menu to select a house style. Many house styles can be purchased from the Home Shop, but some might already be unlocked through gameplay or the LEGO Pass. Once you select your desired style, place it on the lot, and voilà, you’re now the proud owner of a home in Brick Bay!
Getting an Apartment or Penthouse
For those who prefer city living, apartments and penthouses are available in Brick Bay's skyscrapers. Use your map to locate buildings with blue house icons or wander around the city to spot structures with house-themed billboards. Enter the building, head to the elevator, and choose either a Vacant Flat or Penthouse.
To claim a Vacant Flat, choose your floor, interact with the red sign outside, and select your desired layout. Remember, available layouts may vary depending on which side of the building you choose. If you're interested in a penthouse, you'll need 1000 currency to secure the space. If you're ready to splurge, take the elevator to the Vacant Penthouse, interact with the red sign, and select your style to complete your claim.
Unlocking New Home Styles
When you first start, you’ll have two default home styles to choose from: the Simple Shack and the Classy Craftsman. If you want something more luxurious, use your phone and select the Homes app to access the Home Shop. Here, you can spend your hard-earned currency on a variety of home styles, like The Starlet. Once purchased, you can place that style as many times as you'd like.
Additionally, if you're progressing through the LEGO Pass, you can unlock exclusive home styles like Raven's Tower, which can be used in Fortnite Brick Life as well.
